General Consulting

Entrepreneurship feels pretty lonely sometimes.

Yes, it’s awesome to be your own boss and do work that’s meaningful to you. But when a challenge or a difficult decision arises, it’s not always clear where to go for guidance or advice.

Talking with your partner or friends can only get you so far—especially if they’re not entrepreneurial or don’t really “get” what you do.

Sometimes you need to talk to someone who gets it—
and actually knows how to help.

I can help with a variety of business topics:

  • Decision-making—Thoughtful, unbiased guidance with making challenging business decisions of all types

  • Overcoming roadblocks—Getting unstuck on difficult topics like raising your prices, workload sustainability, or creating client-facing policies to protect yourself.

  • Operational effectiveness—Help with cash flow projections, process efficiency, systems creation, etc.

  • Assisting new business owners who need help with business basics, like understanding finances or building a business model

  • Guidance for aspiring business owners who are in the idea stage or aren’t sure how to get started

My general consulting options are flexible because different business owners have different needs. Some challenges can be addressed in one intensive discussion, while others require multiple conversations or even hands-on implementation work from me.

I’ll help you get unstuck and give you the support you need, without locking you into a long program or monthly retainer.

How it Works

If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or anxious about your business, that’s a sign to reach out for support.

The first step is to set up a free intro call for us to discuss what’s happening. I’ll walk through how I can help, and answer your questions. I’ll follow up with a detailed written proposal for how we can work together.

Depending on the level of support you’re looking for, we’ll meet for one or more sessions to discuss your challenge from a number of angles and I’ll provide perspective and guidance—everything from specific tactical advice, to mindset adjustment, to broad strategic vision work. These sessions will be targeted towards getting you the results you want.

General consulting also works well for strategic or operational projects that you want to outsource to a trusted professional. I can assist with a variety of projects such as process documentation (super important if you’re hiring!), pricing reviews, workload prioritization, and more.

Investment

Single 60-minute session to work through a decision or receive guidance on a specific project or challenge—$95, due before the session begins

Bundle of three 60-minute sessions for short-term support with a complex project or issue—$270 paid in two installments: $150 deposit, $120 due after first session

Bundle of five 60-minute sessions for long-term support with a very complex project or evolving situation—$400 paid in two installments: $200 deposit, $200 due after third session

General consulting engagements that extend beyond 5 sessions are billed at my regular hourly rate starting with the sixth session. Hands-on implementation (completed by me independently, at your request) is also billed at my hourly rate.

Next steps

If you’re ready to get the support you and your business deserve, the next step is to schedule a 30 minute intro call with me so you can ask any questions you may have, and I can share more information about working with me. Intro calls are free, with zero commitment required or pressure to move forward.

I’m excited to support you, help you get unstuck, and make your business work better.
