General Consulting
Entrepreneurship feels pretty lonely sometimes.
Yes, it’s awesome to be your own boss and do work that’s meaningful to you. But when a challenge or a difficult decision arises, it’s not always clear where to go for guidance or advice.
Talking with your partner or friends can only get you so far, especially if they’re not entrepreneurial or don’t really “get” what you do.
Sometimes you need to talk to someone who gets it,
and actually knows how to help.
I can help with coaching and consulting on a variety of business topics:
Decision-making: Thoughtful, unbiased guidance with making challenging business decisions of all types
Overcoming roadblocks: Getting unstuck on difficult topics like raising your prices, workload sustainability, or creating client-facing policies to protect yourself
Operational effectiveness: Help with cash flow projections, process efficiency, systems creation, etc.
Assisting new business owners who need help with business basics, like understanding finances or building a business model
Guidance for aspiring business owners who are in the idea stage or aren’t sure how to get started
My general consulting options are flexible because different business owners have different needs. Some challenges can be addressed in one intensive discussion, while others require multiple conversations or even hands-on work from me.
I’ll help you get unstuck and give you the support you need, without locking you into a long program or monthly retainer.

How it Works
If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or anxious, that’s a sign to reach out for support.
The first step is to set up a free intro call for us to discuss what’s happening. I’ll share how I can help, and answer your questions. I’ll follow up with a detailed written proposal for how we can work together.
We’ll meet for one or more sessions to discuss your challenge from a number of angles. I’ll provide perspective and guidance; everything from specific tactical advice to broad strategic advice. These sessions will be targeted to get you the results you need.
General consulting also works well for project work you want to outsource to a trusted professional. I can assist with a variety of projects such as process documentation, pricing reviews, website audits, prospect research, and more.

Frequently Asked Questions

General Consulting is my most flexible service option. It's a good fit when you have a specific question, situation, or challenge you want to work through but you're not looking to complete a structured project. If you're feeling stuck on something particular (pricing changes, a difficult client situation, revenue growth challenges, etc.), you’ll likely want to start here.
If you feel like your whole business needs a clearer strategic direction or a stronger operational foundation, Strategic Planning or Operations Analysis might be the better fit. When in doubt, schedule a free intro call and we'll figure it out together.
-
Pretty much anything related to running your business. Common topics include pricing decisions, workload and capacity issues, cash flow and financial management, creating client boundaries and policies, increasing revenue and profitability, and figuring out next steps when you feel stuck or overwhelmed.
If you're a new or aspiring business owner, I can also help with fundamentals like understanding your finances or building out your business model. If you're not sure whether your topic is a fit, just bring it to the intro call, and we’ll discuss it together.
-
It depends on the number of topics you want to work on and the level of complexity of those topics. I’ll suggest an ideal number of sessions based on our intro call discussion, but the quantity and cadence of our sessions will always be completely in your control.
